PREMIUM CONCENTRATED GUINEA PIG PELLET WITH DANDELION AND CAMOMILE 1KG
This is a Meadow Grass-based concentrated pellet that allows for a smaller amount to be fed, encouraging guinea pigs to eat a maximum amount of hay.
Just 20g (just over 1 tablespoon) is needed per day for a 1000g guinea pig.
Developed in the UK with expert nutritionists and manufactured in a UK mill, our pellets are nutritionally balanced, include stabilised Vitamin C, Pre-Biotics for digestive health, and Hemp to support hindgut digestion. Natural sources of Omega 3+6 to support healthy skin and coat.
Flavoured with Dandelion and Camomile. Dandelion can help support the urinary tract and control blood sugar. Chamomile is believed to have soothing and anti-anxiety properties, helpful if your guinea pigs are nervous. Both are high in antioxidants and tasty to piggies.

By feeding a lower rate per day our feed has a lower cost per day than some other leading brands who recommend to feed more. The cost per day of feeding our pellet is just 14p per day per pig, compared to other leading brands where the cost is .20p. Also as you are feeding less, one bag will last more days!

Raymond enjoyed them, but struggled to pick them up so ate them last (as part of the transition I had sprinkled them on top of the Selective Botanicals nuggets) after persisting in nuzzling them round the bowl. However, the pellets were so tiny that Kevin could not pick them up and after pushing them round the bowl each mealtime gave up and only ate them after I picked up each pellet and poked it into his mouth, which took ages! He obviously liked them because he ate them all when being hand fed, but this is not practical to do each mealtime. Ingredients are excellent and I would like to use them as their sole dried food choice, but only if the pellets are larger and easier for the pigs to pick up and chew.
My piggies love these nuggets, I love them because after researching I found these to be the best. Always well packaged and quick postage.
